Unconfirmed: Iran Threat Group Disables Israeli’s Power Grid Ahead of Drone Strikes

In an unconfirmed report on X, a group of suspected threat actors, backed by Iran allegedly downed Israeli power grids.

Per the announcement, a group known as the “Cyber Avengers,” which has ties to Iran, proudly announced their responsibility for the recent power outages across Israel. They claimed the outage affected major urban centers including Tel Aviv.

On the other hand, Israeli officials claimed the unavailability of electricity was a mere technical mishap. In response, the said hackers refuted the officials’ claims as they boldly claimed responsibility. They also issued a stern warning and threat that they’ll continue attacks on other infrastructure.

While there is no clear evidence backing claims of a cyberattack, the intrusion came barely an hour before Iran launched its drone attack on Israel. Many argue that the attack could be in a bid to disrupt the Iron Dome.

Per sources, the aggressors launched more than 100 drones, then an unknown amount of cruise missiles, then an unknown amount of ballistic missiles.

They also claimed that in addition to Israel’s air defence, the Royal Air Force fighter jets are helping shoot down the attacking platforms.

Iran Proxies Join Assault

A few hours ago, a report came out on X that Hezbollah launched several drones and missiles into Israel. The Iron Dome intercepted almost everything with no recorded ground detonations. The attack are from all sides of the nation as air sirens go off in all cities as other Iranian proxies join the assault.

In reaction to the ongoing escalations, several accounts on X have conflicted views. While others brace up for world war 3, others are calling doom on the US ally.

Donald Trump reiterated his commitment to supporting Israel at this time. He blamed the current United States’ President for the release of funds to Iran which it is using to fuel its attack.
