Soccer Superstar Lionel Messi Joins NFT Game Sorare As Investor And Brand Ambassador
Lionel Messi, one of the greatest Argentine football megastars, has declared openly his participation as an investor and brand ambassador in Sorare, an NFT game.
Sorare wishes that Messi’s existence will enhance how the company communicates to users, setting new precepts in this regard. The economic factors of the agreement were not divulged.

Lionel Messi, As part of this partnership, Sorare confirmed that he took a stake in the company, without divulging the amounts behind this agreement. To Sorare, Messi’s partnership is a landmark for the company, which had formerly seen interest from another Spanish football player, Gerard Pique.
Moreover, Messi’s deal would also contain the invention of new happenings on the platform. On this evolution, Sorare’s CEO and co-founder Nicolas Julia started.
Other sports megastars like football player Kylian Mbappe and tennis player Serena Williams have already founded similar cooperations with the brand. The platform put forward $680 million in its Series B funding session in Sept. 2021.

Messi Innovative Cooperation With NFT-Based Firms
Interestingly, He was one of the first footballers to get part of his agreement paid in cryptocurrency, when he endorsed a deal with his present club, PSG, in Aug. 2021.
As part of the agreement, Messi would obtain part of his $30 million security payment in $PSG, a fan token launched by the club in cooperation with Socios.com
In October, the football star also endorsed a deal with Bitte, a cryptocurrency exchange with a social trading core, to give enthusiasts a unique chance to explore Web 3.0 and the prospect of trading crypto on the exchange.
Furthermore, Messi’s ties with crypto firms go back to when he cooperated with Sirin Labs, a corporation that encouraged the advancement of a secure blockchain-based phone, in 2017.
