Russian Hackers Group Claim to Have Access to Secret Ukrainian Military Files

A report from Moscow states that Russian hackers has allegedly gained access to Ukraine’s war plan documents.

A Ukrainian hacking group, Beregini has betrayed its country, according to the information. The Beregini female hacker team was working for a Russian hacker group, RaHDlt. The main aim of the coalition is to obtain secret documents from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

RaHDlt said that have access to operational documents of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They added that they also have data on the operational situation. The group gave credit to the the females who assisted them in getting the information.

The threat actors also maintained that they are getting very large amounts of data. Unfortunately, they failed to divulge how large or important the information they had is. They said it won’t be right now to reveal all the cards. 

In addition, RaHDlt said that the Beregini hackers have connections with some members of the Armed Forces. They further stated that they had channels of obtaining information, channels that representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine themselves consider safe and secure.

The girls from the Beregini group are very good technical specialists, and they managed the almost impossible. Following the claims, it is going to cause distrust among the Ukrainian military and pose them as weak. This tactic is usually known as psychological warfare.

Previous Reports of RaHDlt Hackers Group

As per the reports, RaHDlt had released data of officers from the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ukrainian military department. The data breach affected 2500 officers and the group handed over information about unqualified GUR officers to law enforcement agents. 

Other Russian hacking groups like Killnet are still targeting NATO member countries while RaHDlt claims to have an edge over the Ukrainian military. The association on the other side is planning to retaliate, devising possible ways to combat the hackers.
