GhostSec Announced Departure From Cybercrime And Return To Hacktivisim

GhostSec a ransomware organization has announced its departure from the financial motivation “CyberCrime” scene.

The group has secured enough funding to sustain its operations for the foreseeable future and has decided that the promotion of cybercrime and ransomware is no longer necessary. Instead, the group will refocus on pure hacktivism.

Services Discontinuation And Handover

GhostSec will no longer offer its services including the services channel previously provided. The ransomware Ghostlocker will also be discontinued.

However, the entire code of V3 will be provided to Stormous, and all buyers of Ghostlocker will be transitioned to the new Stormous locker. This transition will be carried out transparently, ensuring a clean exit without any exit scam.

Stormous will take over five families and new associates involved in the organization, marking the group’s complete retirement from the “cybercrime” and ransomware scene.

Moving forward, GhostSec will maintain its private channel and chat room and will be offering a discount from today until May 23rd.

During this time, lifetime access to the private channel and chat room will be available for $250, reduced from $400. There are also plans to potentially develop and offer a hacking course or package, although this is still under consideration.

The threat actors express gratitude for the continuous support, love, and understanding from their community. The group is eagerly looking forward to shifting its focus entirely to work towards making the world a better place. 

GhostSec Released A Deadly Leak On Mexican Cartels And Co-Associate

It has come to light that Ghostsec, a ransomware-operating organization, has released a significant amount of data from a recent cyber breach operation that could have a substantial impact on the Mexican cartel. The leak has affected some of the largest cartels in Mexico, including Sinaloa, Jalisco, and others.

The leaked data reportedly originates from various government websites, centers owned or supported by the cartel, and shops affiliated with the cartel.

In addition to this, the leaked information contains a comprehensive research write-up that provides detailed insights into the cartel’s operations, locations, and more.

The group has recently been focusing its attacks on Israel, which represents a surprising departure from their past activities and stated agenda.
