Formed LAWPD Was Found Guilty of Bribery Scheme
On Tuesday, David Alexandra, the former cybersecurity chief for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, was sentenced to four years in prison for a bribery scheme. Based on the evidence laid out, the chief was found guilty of his offense in Los Angeles.
In David’s statement, he disclosed the inappropriate launch of a computerized billing system. His unjustified method of implementing notorious methods has led to an immense bill from customers thus making them inquisitive on imbalance payments that are not worth the service.
The Bribery Schemer was Fined
A fine has been given to Alexandra to pay an amount of $50,000 dollars.
The former LAWPD top executive David was found guilty two months ago of his charge of bribery for collecting payment from an attorney in exchange for a no-bid $30 contract for his company. The act was discovered by the U.S. attorney’s office and David was sentenced to 6 years in federal prison for his crimes.
In 2021, a lawyer called Paul Pradis admitted to his crime of being part of a federal bribery charge to penetrate the rollout and inflate the SEP system. This act was discovered to be outrageous by people of a high rank. Defiance of the guilty rank, rights policy and lawsuit was assigned according to their charges.
It was seen as able to comply by stating out punishment and for the offenders to implement them. Although bribery can not be eradicated totally, with the proper coordination of monitoring and enhancing the right policy, bribery can be reduced.
In Los Angeles, cybersecurity staff are to partake in signing an agreement to formerly adhere to the security policy of a company. The triad of confidentiality, integrity and authentication can also improve the working standards and infrastructure of the company.
