This is not the first time convoy under scrutiny from the government, as previous reports has it that a Superior Court in Ontario, a popular province in Canada, has reportedly issued a Mareva injunction in connection with millions worth of cryptocurrencies donated to protesting truckers.

Mareva Injunction is a form of injunctive order that prevents international movement and dissipation of assets while legal proceedings are ongoing. It can also be called a freezing order.

Starting February 18, leaders and fundraisers of Canada protest group Freedom Convoy, are restrained from “selling, removing, dissipating, alienating, transferring” any of the assets raised for the protests including cryptocurrencies.
