BreachForums 1.0 Database Allegedly Compromised and Leaked

The hacker Emo purportedly leaked BreachForums 1.0, as reported by the darkWeb Informer. the breach reportedly resulted in the exposure of approximately 212,214 rows of data.

Subsequently, the leaked database was reportedly shared on Telegram by emo. The compromised data within the BreachForums 1.0 database contains the following fields: – uid – username – email – regip – lastip.

In May 2024, law enforcement took the hacktivist group offline. However, it has now reemerged online and is fully operational, ready to cater to its customers. Moreover, the platform is accessible through both the dark web and the clearnet, overseen by ShinyHunters, a former high-ranking administrator of the forum. BreachForums was established as a replacement for RaidForums, which was shut down in 2015.

Furthermore, Its purpose was to facilitate the exchange of malware, stolen data, and other illicit content among hackers.

In March 2023, the forum came under FBI scrutiny, leading to the apprehension of its proprietor and super-administrator, Conor Brian Fitzpatrick. Subsequently, Fitzpatrick received a 20-year supervised release sentence.

Astounding Accuses Breachforums Leader of Being a Mole

Recently, the SecretForum Telegram channel revealed details about alleged activities involving Baphomet and BreachForum.

According to a former administrator of Blackforums, there are concerns about Baphomet’s role as an informant. The administrator mentioned that Baphomet had repeatedly attempted to gain access to their infrastructure, posing as someone interested in improving security.

 

However, the administrator maintained sole control over the servers and denied Baphomet access. The SecretForum admin also pointed out that Baphomet’s subsequent ban from Jacuzzi 2.0 after being denied access indicates an effort to silence concerns about its intentions.

 

In regards to BreachForums, there are security concerns due to ShinyHunters’ ownership and the use of old backups in its construction. Baphomet, the site’s developer, is particularly troubling because of his alleged status as an informant.

Furthermore, Baphomet’s past request to parse logs has raised additional concerns. It’s important to note that our sites do not typically maintain logs, except for crucial information like user accounts and password hashes.

As the sole administrator responsible for Blackforums’ infrastructure, I believe I have to inform the community of my concerns.
