Anonymous Sudan Continues Daring Attacks on Israel’s Digital Infrastructure

Israel’s critical infrastructure has been at the forefront of every heavy attack from Anonymous Sudan in recent weeks. The threat actor announced on its official telegram page it had conducted a massive cyber attack on Israel’s credit card company (known as CAL), Israel’s port development and assets company, and the well-known Haifa port company.

Anonymous Sudan Bold Move User Concerns

The attack on Israel’s port development and asset companies is a huge disruption at a time when the country is facing an external threat from Hamas. the firm is responsible for the development of Israel’s three commercial seaports in Haifa, Ashdod, and Eilat.

Additionally, it aids in providing the necessary infrastructure which allows the ports to efficiently operate and competitively handle the country’s international maritime trade. Furthermore, the Haifa port company is responsible for managing the Israeli Haifa port.

According to the source, aside from the critical infrastructure, the network devices, administration devices, routers, SNMP and email servers, VPN, and other internal servers. Additionally, the threat actors claimed credit for any other damages incurred by the company and port operations.

The repeated attacks and abuse of Israel’s critical infrastructure show the need for stronger protective walls around its cyber security database and major operating services.

Previous Attack On Kraken

Last week, Anonymous Sudan claimed on its official Telegram page to have disabled all services on the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange website and application.

At around noon that day, a user questioned the @Krakenfx page on X (previously known as Twitter) “Kraken you have not addressed the issues, why can’t we login’ the User says. Additionally, another user commented: ‘I can see all my funds can’t withdraw anything at the moment.”

Additionally, the details of the hack show that the Kraken website service was down for a continual time. Furthermore, a user’s comment shows that due to Kraken’s maintenance, they can’t close all positions. The comment reveals the pressing situation of the Kraken website and its app services.
