Anonymous Plans to Halt Attack From pro-Russian Hacker Group Killnet
Anonymous plans to neutralize Killnet’s cyber attacks
Conventionally stating a detailed process of their successful accomplishment, this group of anonymous hackers published a message stating the downfall of Russia’s kill-net hackers. Following consecutive attacks of anonymity towards Killnet, it was expected to destroy the easy flow of its attack, which has escalated in previous weeks.
Towards the end of April, the Anonymous group also had to target the Romanian government. Users of websites mainly owned by public institutions, administrative parties, government bodies, and the ministry of defense were smashed by a Denial-Of-Service attack which was traced to be from Russia.
Romanian agencies made the notification on Killnet specialization being the Denial-of-Service attack and have recently attacked sites from other locations such as the United States, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and other NATO members.
The attack was stated as “distinguished” by Romanian Defense Minister Vasile Dincu due to its deployment method. The occurrence of such an attack is constant with or without the ongoing war on government sites.
Scenarios similar to this were started by novices, some fully sponsored by political parties, and governmental bodies. It is expected to succeed in diminishing Killnet’s attack to zero.
